Gareth Bale back to his best after Real Madrid ordeal, says Chris Mepham

Wales defender Chris Mepham states Gareth Bale is right back to his best in the pitch that his off-pitch anxieties have ended.
Bale, who looked to be on his way from Real Madrid during the summer prior to his turn to club Jiangsu Suning dropped through, has now found his way back into the plans of Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.
Mepham considers that Bale’s future appears to be resolved, he could begin putting in the performances everybody understands he can for Wales following a year for the team.
«It is better to see Gaz back out to the pitch doing,» Mepham stated.
«He had a good deal of speculation on the summertime and it’s good he’s that focus back. When hen’t got the game-time at 12, it was hard.
«He came away with Wales and that was his moment to shine and, unfortunately, he didn’t contribute with all the goals everyone about him needs.
«When we lost the 2 matches in Croatia and Hungary I watched him at the dressing room afterwards. He had been devastated, as we were, but it simply demonstrates how much it means to him.»
There seems to be a new optimism round the Welsh national group, using a few young players.
Daniel James’ stock has skyrocketed because his transfer to Manchester United, scoring three goals in his four Premier League matches for the Red Devils.
And now David Brooks and Harry Wilson are equally now team-mates with Mepham at heart level with Bournemouth, and so are becoming vital elements to Eddie Howe’s side.
Believes this is only going to help relieve the pressure put to take the side.
He explained:»It’s been hard for Gareth having that pressure you each match, to be the person to find the targets.
«That is the reason why it’s great to see different lads chipping in — Wilson, Brooks, once he had been in the group, along with Daniel James.
«Hopefully that takes the pressure off Gareth and now we have got good attacking options on Friday [from Azerbaijan].»
And while those players could take the strain of Bale, they might potentially be carrying set-pieces off him also.
Harry Wilson is becoming famous bagging one from Manchester City earlier this season.
However, Mepham backs the Real Madrid individual and Champions League-winner to retain the duty.
Mepham explained:»It’s a conversation I do not need to be involved in!
«Both of them are able to create this moment of magic. Harry scored last week against Manchester City and it has been done several times by him, but so has Gaz.
«If I am betting man I’d have cash on Gaz bullying the younger lad out of it»
