Gareth Bale back to his best after Real Madrid ordeal, says Chris Mepham

Wales defender Chris Mepham says Gareth Bale is back to his best in the pitch now his off-pitch woes have ended.
Bale, who seemed to be on his way from Real Madrid during the summer before his turn to team Jiangsu Suning fell through, has found his way into Zinedine Zidane’s plans in the Bernabeu.
Mepham considers that, today Bale’s future appears to be resolved, he will start putting in the performances everyone understands he can for Wales after a disappointing year for the national team.
«It is a better idea to see Gaz back out to the pitch performing,» Mepham explained.
«He had a great deal of speculation through the summer and it’s good he’s that focus back. When he was not getting the game-time in 12, it was difficult.
«He came off with Wales and that was his time to shine and, unfortunately, he did not contribute with all the aims everyone about him desires.
«When we lost the two matches in Croatia and Hungary I found him at the dressing room afterwards. He had been ruined, as we all were, but it just shows how much it means .»
There seems to be a brand new controversy around the Welsh national team, using some young players starting to have the chance.
Daniel James’ stock has skyrocketed since his move.
And now Harry Wilson and David Brooks are equally now team-mates with Mepham at club level using Bournemouth, and so are becoming crucial components to Eddie Howe’s side.
Believes this will help alleviate the pressure put to take the side.
He said:»It’s been hard for Gareth having that pressure on you every match, to be the individual to find the aims.
«That’s the reason why it’s good to see different lads chipping in — Wilson, Brooks, if he was in the squad, and Daniel James.
«Hopefully this takes the strain off Gareth and now we have got good attacking options on Friday [contrary to Azerbaijan].»
And while those players may choose the pressure of Bale, they could be taking set-pieces off him.
Harry Wilson is now becoming famous bagging one from Manchester City this season.
However, Mepham backs up the Real Madrid guy and Champions League-winner to retain the responsibility.
Mepham stated:»It’s a conversation I don’t need to participate in!
«Both of them can make this moment of magical. Harry scored against Manchester City and he’s done it several times, but then so has Gaz.
«If I’m betting man I would have cash on Gaz bullying the younger lad out of it!»
