Newq York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa out for season with serious neck injury

New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa will miss the rest of the year after sustaining his severe neck injury head coach Adam Gase declared.
Before registering a four-year, $36m contract extension in December enunwa, that sat out the 2017 season because of an ailing throat missed five matches in 2018 injuries.
The 27-year-old Enunwa had just one grab for yards in New York’s loss.
Gase explained the Jets»discovered the following day after the match» about Enunwa’s accident when he advised the team he»did not feel right following the match.»
«You drop a starter, you lose a man who is a veteran player that’s been through a good deal, that has done a great deal of great things,» Gase stated.
«He’s done everything you could ask a guy to do. He attempts to do everything . He works hard, he studies, he attempts to lead by example if he must, and that he speaks . How he plays, everything was barbarous and he gives everything he has.
«I feel for him, just from the aspect of everything he’s going through with anything similar to this. It is not something that’s easy for guys who’ve already been doing this their whole life.»
The Jets prepared together with Tuesday’s trade with New England to get Demaryius Thomas, who’ll join Jamison Crowder and Robby Anderson in the wide receiver ranks of the team.
New York sent its AFC East competition a choice available for Thomas, who will be reunited with Gase. He also spent five seasons coaching Thomas together with the Denver Broncos, three as his position coach (2010-12) and 2 because his offensive coordinator (2013-14).
Gase told me that he expected Thomas to play Monday night from Cleveland (0-1), imagining the 31-year-old moves his physical.
