Scotland lost both their Qualifiers to Russia along with Belgium, the defeat on the latter was the first time Snodgrass had played with for Scotland one year ago since dropping to the resistance.
«It was a bitterly disappointing few results for us ,» said Snodgrass.
«It had been my first start in a lengthy period for Scotland, and also to get beat how we did…
«We turned off at vital times and when they have got the likes of [Kevin] De Bruyne, [Romelu] Lukaku and [Dries] Mertens in the side they could cause you issues and that’s what they done.»
Snodgrass is eager to focus on the challenge ahead a visit to one of his clubs, Aston Villa, Monday Night Football in front of the Sky cameras.
«we would like to attempt to win the game in Aston Villa as, keep on progressing, we need to keep on winning football games and will need to bring unique ideas to split these sorts of teams down.
«Aston Villa are a very good side. I have watched them a lot this year because of the fact I have been around and kept in touch with some of their staff and players, and we are going to want to be at our very best to find a result.»
Snodgrass’ West Ham team-mate Declan Rice continues to be facing a difficult time on the international stage after death threats were received by him for choosing to play for England within the Republic of Ireland.

Hammers director Manuel Pellegrini is confident Rice has the mindset to take all into his stride and prosper for the federal aspect:»Declan is a very young player, he is advancing in every game that he playswith,» said Pellegrini.
«He’s just 20 years old and now I think with his age it’s very important he performs for England and it is important for him how he will demonstrate how he functions.
«You can expect these mistakes for any kind of participant. He is improving and in this place he is performing for the second.
«If you are 20 years older you always need to play, but we will see if he has any muscle problem. For the moment Declan has to continue playing.»
«Once I took him out of the group last year I told him you will need a few more games to function in that position, he always is advancing and wants to understand. He knows what he is doing wrong and he wants to enhance.»
«He has played in the best level for both games [for England] which will give him confidence.»
